Does BizAI integrate with my existing POS system?
No. BizAI does not connect to POS systems, so keep using your POS for orders and till slips. BizAI handles bookings, guest messages, promotions and invoices. Invoices and payments sync to Sage, Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks, and guests can pay through Netcash or PayFast.
How do automated booking reminders work?
Each booking gets one reminder, sent by WhatsApp or email at a time you choose, from 30 minutes to 2 days before. The message has links to reschedule or cancel, and your calendar updates when the guest uses them. You can mark a booking as completed or as a no-show.
Can I manage dietary preferences and allergies for returning guests?
There are no dedicated dietary or allergy fields. Each guest has a record with tags, notes and their full message history, so you can note an allergy or a preference there and your team can see it whenever they open the guest.
Is there a loyalty programme?
No. BizAI has no points or stamp card. You can tag your regulars and send them promotions by WhatsApp, SMS or email, and set up an automated birthday message that goes out on each guest’s date of birth. Promotions only go to guests who opted in.
What about online booking? Do I need a separate system?
BizAI gives you a booking page to share as a link on WhatsApp, Instagram or your website. Guests book a time for things like functions, tastings, private dining or spa treatments, per staff member or per type of booking. It is not a restaurant table-reservation system: there is no table plan, party-size limit or waitlist, so keep your table-booking tool for that. Online booking is the Booking add-on at R100/month.
Can guests pay deposits online?
Yes. Send an invoice for a deposit or a function on WhatsApp or email with a Pay Now link, and the guest pays by card, EFT or Ozow through Netcash, or through PayFast. To sell vouchers or products online, add the Storefront add-on for R280/month.
